Specialties

All our instructors are PADI certified with a wealth of experience, patience and a love of diving. We can teach all levels from the introductory “Discover Scuba Diving” and Open Water Certification all the way up to Divemaster.

At Wall to Wall Diving we believe that any course should run at your pace so that you get the most out of your learning experience. When it comes to Scuba Diving it is important that you feel comfortable and safe in the water. PADI courses are performance based not time based. For this reason every one of our courses is private, giving you the ultimate in personalized instruction.

Over the last few years, thanks to the internet, a quiet revolution has been going on in the way people learn to dive. The academic portions of many different scuba certification classes have been made available by PADI to be completed online. The advantage to travelling divers is obvious: no more need to spend time in classrooms when you be either on the beach or in the water!

Of course the internet does not replace skilled, knowledgeable instructors when it comes to getting wet and through PADI’s “Elearning” process we are always available to you to answer any questions you may have whilst completing your online studies.

Neither is “Elearning” compulsory! For those of you with internet phobias or who simply prefer the more personal touch we are, of course, still available for the old school methods of teaching!

Open Water Certification

PADI Certification will enable you to go diving with a certified buddy, without an Instructor. It is a 3-4 day course that consists of academic sessions, swimming pool sessions, and 4 ocean dives. A lot of the academic work can be done in the comfort of your own hotel or condo using videos and the PADI Open Water Diver manual. During the pool sessions you will gradually work your way through skills of varying difficulty, from swimming with fins on to perfect buoyancy underwater. Once you have mastered the skills in the pool then you are ready to dive in the ocean, where you will repeat the skills you’ve learnt. Don’t despair – there will be plenty of time to look around at the coral and the fish as well. Remember, learning to dive is fun and a great achievement. Make the most of this valuable time spent with your instructor to become a better, safer diver. Minimum age 10.

Advanced Open Water

Would you like to be able to find your own way back to the boat on a dive? Or do you fancy taking the plunge on a night dive? If the answer is yes, then we recommend the PADI Advanced Open Water Course. With the help of our experienced instructors, you can further your diving knowledge and experience. The course consists of 5 dives: 2 core dives, Navigation and Deep, and 3 elective dives of your choice. Choose from Night, Underwater Photography, Multi-level, Peak Performance, Naturalist or Search & Recovery.

Rescue Diver Course

Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

Specialty Courses

There are many PADI Speciality Courses with the PADI system of education and we have listed below some of our most popular that are specifically suited to our environment. The purpose of the PADI Specialty Diver courses is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards for various special-interest areas in diving.

Divemaster Course

Love scuba diving? Want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love to do as a career. Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.
