Open Water Certification:

PADI Certification will enable you to go diving with a certified buddy, without an Instructor. It is a 3-4 day course that consists of academic sessions, swimming pool sessions, and 4 ocean dives. A lot of the academic work can be done in the comfort of your own hotel or condo using videos and the PADI Open Water Diver manual. During the pool sessions you will gradually work your way through skills of varying difficulty, from swimming with fins on to perfect buoyancy underwater. Once you have mastered the skills in the pool then you are ready to dive in the ocean, where you will repeat the skills you’ve learnt. Don’t despair – there will be plenty of time to look around at the coral and the fish as well.

Remember, learning to dive is fun and a great achievement. Make the most of this valuable time spent with your instructor to become a better, safer diver.
